5/30/2023 0 Comments Encore spa vs wynn spa![]() I love staying in the even numbered rooms, which face the strip. There are some good You Tube videos online to check out. But my "quiet" is someone else's "dead", so it depends what you want. One of my favorite colors is green and I love the green throughout the Encore Tower Suites check in area and yes, it is smaller and has a slightly more boutique feel to it. I am not sure if the lounge near the pool is open but I like the nightly live music there as well. I also prefer the Encore spa and pools but as also noted above, Wynn guests may now be able to use the Encore pools. With club nights being a big exception (and which isn't relevant now with clubs closed), Encore IMO also has less tourist traffic. I love playing in both casinos depending on my mood but like the more quiet/relaxed chill of Encore. The Encore Queen rooms don't have that tv divider instead the television is on the wall across from both beds. I like the brown/black touches with the cream colors in the Encore rooms more than the all cream with splashes of brighter colors in the Wynn rooms, and I like the divider noted above in the Encore King rooms. I like traditional design but nevertheless prefer the slightly more modern feel of the Encore rooms, whether in the main hotel or in the Tower Suites, my home away from home. *If nightclubs are back up and running during your trip, make sure to ask for a north-facing room at Encore or you might have to deal with the bass from the club until the wee hours…regardless of how high of a floor you’re on. Of course, as with most everything else Wynn, you really can’t go wrong. But if I were choosing based on the room alone, I’d probably pick Encore more often than Wynn. But that’s usually because I like the casino better, it has all the breakfast spots, it has Parasol Up/Down (which is a daily stop for me), it’s closer to the rest of the strip and I don’t have to worry about getting a room with nightclub noise*. I choose Wynn probably 75-80% of the time. Bathrooms are about the same, though the Encore shower has a wand thingy. The décor is a bit darker on the Encore side and has fewer splashes of color than Wynn rooms. There is a half wall with the TV on it that separates the living area and bedroom (the TV swivels so you can view it from either “room”). The rooms at Encore are a bit larger than those at Wynn – probably about 15% larger. Right? So, I assume you just haven’t stayed at Encore. I’m pretty sure you’ve stayed at Wynn, Mike.
